In re-reading the WriteNews.Com article on the purchase of YouTube by Google I noticed Google's statement that it was not through with its acquisitions in the area of video.
The article stated: "Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt told investors and
news reporters on a conference call following news of the deal that
YouTube will be "one of many investments" Google plans to make in the
video field."
Which one of these is next for Google-- VideoEgg, Metacafe, Break.com, Revver, Blinkx or Veo? And, what is the strategic fit that any one of these has to offer that YouTube does not provide?
