As the New Year approaches I have looked back on my posts, comments and emails from those posts and comments. The strangest thing I noticed was that those posts that I might have intended to be controversial were typically not so, and those that I did not intend to be controversial brought the most anger. Mostly, people emailed me to kindly tell me that some of my posts were just lame -- or that I am lame. So I will ask you now to pick my lamest post of the year by selecting one of the following:
• This one.
• I am still looking for one that is not total drivel.
• Pick one, you can’t go wrong.
• Each one reaches new levels of lameness.
Lame duck? Are you running for office. Seriously though, I have found the same thing. While I try not to anything political on either my HOL or Kansas Family Law Blog, we still from time to time, anger someone. One of the joys of blogging. And in my humble opinion, sometimes we need to poke at our readers to get their attention. To see if they are really paying attention.
I love comments and emails on post I do. One of the great benefits of blogging compared to other marketing efforts is the ability to keep a conversation going. I approve every comment, unless it is just some crap spam.
BTW, I think you are lame all the time. But, you are from Texas aren't you.

Chuck,
There is nothing lame about you. You are unconventional, forthright and very much your own person. Vivid colors and passion, humor and straight talk are your trademark. It's your blog. Do what you want. Those who enjoy you...they'll be back. Those who don't...well, I don't think you;ll miss them! You know the old adage, "try to please everyone, you please noone."
Happy New Year.
Susan
