With James Brown's unexpected passing over the holiday, I think it is only fitting to note that I found the man amazing and inspiring. Not only in his music, but in the way he could move. I was most amazed that he could keep this up into is 70s. He truly was the "hardest working man in show business". Secretly, we all rely on pick-me-ups to make us feel better when we are depressed or down. Some resort to pills or booze. I would often resort to James Brown and his music. Even today, if I need to feel at ease or mellow I will listen to the crooners. If I need to feel up it is James Brown. When getting a little over anxious working in the office, I would resort (and will resort) to a blast or two of James Brown's music and then move on. Here is what I am talking about below:
