Don't knock it until you try it! It's actually rather tasty!

Fumi sent me a wide arrange of ice creams, including grilled eggplant, pumpkin, egg, roasted potato (I really like sweet potato ice cream!), yuzu (a citrus fruit), milk, strawberry, and couple more that I can't recall at the moment.

Mmmmmmm eggplant and pumpkin ice cream -- two of my favorite Japanese vegetables turned into a sweet frozen treat. =)

Actually, when I was in Italy 18 years ago (or so) I had avocado gelato; it was excellent.

Believe it or not, the Japanese have even stranger ice cream flavors. How about fish flavored ice cream? Yum........

Am looking for tomato ice cream recipe for young friend who enjoyed this flavor in Russia????????
Any ideas?
