It was bound to happen. Sheryl Schelin has been threatening to make blogging easier to start and keep up with for the solos and small firms. Now it is here. It is simply called Blawg In A Box, and you need to check it out. Marketing is everything not only in law, but in any endeavor. I can guarantee you that if you build a better mouse trap that people will not beat a path to your door if you do not let them know of it, inspire them to use try it, encourage them to buy it, and then allow them to understand the benefit of the bargain they received. The problem is for solos and small firms there are often too many other tasks to complete, work to be done, and distractions to get a blog up and going. If that is true for you, maybe Sheryl can help. Give it a try.
Because people are simply fed up with assholes in the workplace. Assholes in the marketplace. Assholes in the courthouse. Assholes ruining the everyday comforts of life. It is really a work-life balance or blending issue that needs to be addressed.
This taken from SeattlePI.Com. Most of us like ice cream. I for one love ice cream. I am addicted to ice cream. Oh, that smooth goodness. It sure beats the Houston heat. But, ice cream can supposedly tell much about who you are as a person. They call it flavorology. Were are in in this mix?
I try to keep my political learning and opinions minimal on this website, but I cannot help but wonder what the logic is by Fox News to go on an all out attack against bloggers. Even though it is cable, it is certainly part old media versus new media. But comparing bloggers to Nazis and the like is unseemly. I read much of what I do not like every day on blogs, both political and not, but Fox calling blogs and bloggers fear mongers is a bit like the pot calling the kettle black. People being able to broadcast their own opinions about politics, law, business, religion, and whatever else is obviously threatening to people who wish to control it.
YouTube might be the greatest, and one of the cheapest, forms of Third Wave technology to date, but the old line conservatives just do not understand either it or its impact. They cannot run and hide. It will catch up with them. Yet, the Washington Post Blog is reporting that four days after the Democratic debate in Charleston, S.C., and after more than 400 questions have been submitted by ordinary citizens, only two Republicans have agreed to show up to the CNN YouTube debate scheduled for September 17th. Senator John McCain and Representative Ron Paul. I guess fearful of video populism they just cannot stand stepping out of the bubble where they can to some extent control the questions and responses. Policies aside, these people are so going to lose come a year from November. Obviously, the do not feel they can answer, or do not want to answer some tough citizen questions, not filtered by the press. Here are a few:
