Look, we all have known that our printers are hazardous to our pocketbook. They are relatively cheap to buy, but maintenance, paper, and toner can run you into the ground. Now, a new study show s that in fact laser printers can damage your lungs much in the same way as smoke particles from cigarettes. A third of all laser printers tested emit potentially dangerous levels of toner into the air. This is a little disconcerting to me because my laser printer sit right beside me. Luckily, I do not use it nearly as much as I have in the past.
Wow. That's a new (and scary one) on me. Thanks for the information. I don't use mine very much either but I'm certainly going to use it less until such time as I am completely paperless. Thanks, again, Chuck.
