The home office lawyer needs music to sooth the savage beast. And, as home office lawyers we can get the music a number of different ways. I have an iPod, for example, in my office. However, I like to turn my computer into a radio, and play Internet radio often. This is especially true for mid-century music of which I like to listen. There is no radio station in our area that plays Nat Cole, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Gene
Autry, Doris Day, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Elvis, Burl Ives, and many more of that time. One of my favorite channels is A Blue Light. It is not commercial free but there are very few commercials, and if you have a computer and broadband it is FREE. We like Free. For the season A Blue Light is temporarily A Blue Light Christmas and is playing period holiday music. I just listen to Andy Williams singing A song for the Christmas Tree, and before that Russ Morgan singing I Want Your for Christmas. The Mills Brothers singing Joy to the World. Eddie Fisher singing Christmas Day. There are old favorites, but also the old hits you will not hear on commercial radio and will not likely have on your iPod. Blue Light is one of the free stations of Live365.Com, which has channels on almost any type of music you might like. You have to register with Live365 to receive them, and they do have premium channels, but you do not have to, and I do not, subscribe to them. You can also start your own radio station -- you DJ you!
They should totally be paying for your advertising skills :)
