Steve Novick is running for the U.S.Senate in Oregan. He is a not your run of the mill public interest lawyer. He has some handicaps (I mean physical handicaps and no so much political handicaps), but he has not only learned to live with them, he has made them his logo. Regardless of your political persuasion (not a conservative or Republican I hope, but I love you anyway if you are), I do think there is a lot Third Wave attorneys can learn from Steve Novick in understanding your weaknesses and trying to turn them into positives.
