It is no secret that one of the things proposed here is the elimination of highrise buildings for lawyers and law firm, and really for most service business as they are mainly no longer necessary. Cheap technology is such that you can not only move your solo practice home, but you can move every Big Law firm home and every in-house firm home. It can and will save your sanity and the World, as buildings are the leading cause of pollution in this World. The question becomes, however, what to do with all of the steel and concrete highrise buildings that could be vacated in our cities. Apart from converting them into housing, one solution is turn them into vertical farms, also known as "sky farms" or "skyscrapper farming". Tear off the curtain wall, retrofit, and turn downtown areas, like Houston, into agriculture centers, surrounded by housing and shopping places. Fresh food, produced close to home, in controlled environments, reducing costs and saving energy. What could be better than this?
I think that these high-rise buildings might still be used for other purposes. It would be such a waste to just demolish these buildings.
