Texas has nine law schools in the state. Four are public law schools. These are the University of Houston, Texas Southern University, The University of Texas, Texas Tech University. The rest are private law schools. With the exception of Southern Methodist University, the private law schools are pretty
competitively priced in the way of tuition and fees. The Texas law schools in no particular order are:
