None of us is perfect. I understand that. But, the problem with this crap that is dished out is it does not represent change in any form. It represents the same B.S. on which the current administration has led going on 8 years. Palin is ready to lead or she is not. That is a judgment call that each of us has to make for ourselves. Whether the conduct of her children or her personal issues are fair game is an issue to be discussed. You know my view. Children are off limits. That has never been the case in the right wing media until now. But, apart from some in the press, Palin uses questions as a sword to attack those that have said from the beginning that these are not their issue. The problem are those who have long histories, including Palin, of arguing otherwise, and now change their arguments, morals and outrage for political purposes. That is not straight talk. That is trash talk. McCain has promised us for 8 year or better that he would engage in this type of thing. This is important because if McCain and his camp will say anything now to get elected, then he will later, and it is shows he is overall not truthful.
The conservative, moralist base of the Republican Party cannot preach a certain belief or tell us that we need to act a certain way in life, without holding the same virtues for themselves. That is what is happening, in my sincere opinion. We all know that hypocrisy is raised in terms of accusations. It is really time that Palin get out from in front of the tele-prompter and answer questions, instead of hiding behind personal indignity to avoid it.
If a hypocrite is one who hides his or her intentions and true personality, then that is the feeling we get from both McCian and Palin -- and frankly, to a lesser or truer extend from Obama, at least during the primary.
It maybe aired as comedy, but Stewart is better at this that Tim Russert every was.
