I have posted about using cargo shipping containers before as either a home office alternative, or just to create a small law office somewhere that is affordable.
This project in Gandino, Italy is particularly entertaining because it substitutes glass for the non-supporting walls of the cargo shipping container. It is not that many lawyers would want to live in a glass house, but a cheap cargo shipping container could be retrofitted as a back porch, or the entry way to an office, or something like a waiting or conference room to attach to other containers or a smaller building to make the perfect office cheaply.
And, if it is sunlight you want, but not a loss of privacy, you can always use something like Kalwall instead of glass.
Anyway, check it out.
Would love one of these too but not with as much glass. WOW!!!!

I'd love to get build a shipping container home for my father, and maybe even for my husband and I. Where do I find out about real estate laws/permits in the Dallas/Fort Worth area about cargotecture?
