If you are in the preliminary stages of thinking about law schools, and you are trying to figure out what schools are both available to you and within the location you want to attend, you can of course go down all of the state listings on various sites. Or, Julie Jones, the Cornell Law Librarian as created a Google Map of all of the ABA Approved Law Schools in the country. It is pretty neat because you can see where they are concentrated, you can zoom in on any one and view it in map, traffic, satellite or terrain modes. You can also click on the website for each. It is worth giving it a look. View it by CLICKING HERE.
Some ABA approved Law Schools are listed but many appear to be missing. If you look at Minnesota, for example the following ABA approved law schools are missing:
1. University of Minnesota Law School;
2. Hamlin University Law School; and
3. University of St. Thomas Law School.
In other word three of of the four law schools in the state are not listed. Not cool!
