Personal injury offers a lot of opportunity for the development of a niche practice. And, although it is sometimes a bit scary to start off narrowing your focus, it is more comforting in the long run. This is because law is not the only thing at play in personal injury cases. The knowledge of various industries, products, procedures and how they operate is equally important. Time and a narrow focus gives you an opportunity to teach yourself the inside knowledge of an industry you are suing or representing better than anybody else. Then in a world where being known for something specific is better than just being a lawyer, this niche knowledge offers marketing advantages. In short, it is better being known as a personal injury lawyer than just a lawyer, and it is better to be a bus accident lawyer than just a personal injury lawyer. Over time it affords you a cache on which to prosper.
As stated, one such personal injury area is bus accident law. There can be no more vital area than this. Unlike a car wreck, a bus accident on one side leads to the injury of many innocent people. On the other side, the liability issues are large and the risk must be managed.
There are a number of law firms that operate in this area. Among these are Michael H. Silvers, Baum Hedlund, Abels & Annes, The Bradley Law Firm, Todd Bissell, Hannon & Boyers, Vujasinovic & Beckcom, The Cartwright Law Firm, Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, Kelly Witherspoon, The Yost Legal Group, Harris Harris, Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen, Buckfire & Buckfire, Slaughter & Slaughter, and Fred Pritzker to name a few.
Even the famous Edward Masry is involved in the niche with his firm Masry & Vititoe.
Some like Chalat Hatten & Koupal limit it further to matters like tour bus accidents in Colorado, or such as Kline & Specter who seek school bus accidents.
Some attorneys expand upon this concept as mass transit or public transit accident attorneys. For example, the Davis Law Group, P. Charles Scholle, Jeffrey S. Hasson, Matthew D. Dubin, Greene Broillet & Wheeler, Jason B. Kessler, and Sarles, Frey & Joseph to name a few.
I tend to think that from a Google or search standpoint, ordinary consumers will think more specifically and therefore I would think descriptively a Bus Accident Lawyer is better than a Mass Transit Lawyer.
Also, where most of these law firms recognize the niche, most do not dedicate themselves almost exclusively to it. To me that means opportunity.
The point, however, is that you can learn a lot should you start out carefully reviewing these websites and others.
And, what could be a more vital area for a lawyer. Negligence at this level results is serious problems. The public has a right to feel safe and they cannot if there are not dedicated attorneys bring this area of concern to task.
You do not fully appreciate the trauma involved or the severity of the problem. Simply go to Google Images and type in "bus accident". Look at it.
