If you have the ability to get into these fine law school it is worth your effort to do so. If not, it is still worth your effort to get into law school. Ultimately, most people do not ask and do not care were you went to law school. They care about what you can do for them. There is something to say for personal achievement, but ultimately the question is whether or not you want to be a lawyer. I am often asked, "What law school should I go to". I most often say, "To the one that accepts you".
You end with, "I am often asked, 'What law school should I go to'. I most often say, 'To the one that accepts you'."
Good advice. You might want to add, "..., that has a high first time bar pass rate and that will leave with the smallest student debt."

I completely agree with you. Why should it be so important to get into one of the 10 BIG Law Schools if you can learn what you need to be a good laywer at any good other Law School. I agree with Patrick, one with a high first time pass bar rate and small student debt should be the one to go for.
