There are some pretty exciting events taking place in terms of Texas law schools.
First, On August 12, 2013 Texas Wesleyan University School of Law has became Texas A&M University School of Law.
Second, the University of North Texas College of Law has begun accepting applications for next fall.
Both law schools are associated with large, dynamic, state universities. Where Texas A&M Law is fully ABA accredited, UNT Law is not. The reason is that Texas A&M acquired a fully operation law school. UNT is starting from scratch in Dallas and must seek provisional ABA accreditation.
Third, Baylor, SMU, South Texas College of Law, and St. Mary's University law schools each made the Best Value Private Law School list.
In any event, opportunities abound, in Texas.
